Why Support Amina?
Amina MWRC is the largest organisation supporting Muslim and BME women across Scotland, and has been around for over 25 years.
Many women need help which is not restricted by funding requirements, including women without recourse to public funds. For instance, if you are here in the UK on a spousal visa and experience domestic abuse, you will not be able to access a space in a women’s aid refuge. Amina’s Hardship Fund is unrestricted and helps women to live safer lives with support from this fund.
Your donations help Amina empower and support Muslim and BME women in Scotland.
Every penny donated supports the women Amina work with, and every donation is welcomed whatever the amount.
Please note we cannot accept Zakat donations.

Goods and Services
Amina is delighted to receive all kinds of support – are you able to offer your time, your expertise, or your services?
We welcome donations of goods, vouchers, and services, which are especially crucial for women with No Recourse to Public Funds. We will happily redistribute toiletries, toys, tinned, and packaged foods.
