Amina Dundee will be hosting the third Pan-Africa Workshop on Tuesday, 23rd January from 11am to 1pm at our Scrap Antics Community Space. 🥁 Come along to explore the rich history, culture and resources of Africa during these engaging drop-in sessions.
This week’s session will focus on Southern Africa. Join our workshops to learn about:
🥁 Pan-African arts & culture, from Miriam Makeba to Fela Kuti, craft traditions to film festivals.
🌅 Africa’s natural resources, from the forests of Burkina Faso to the energy sources and minerals of Nigeria and Ghana.
🌴 African history: colonialism and liberation struggle, migration, religion, and diaspora.
🌍 All sessions will start with some focused learning and then give lots of time to write, draw, and develop ideas together.
Join us to enhance your knowledge, learn, and share with others. Sessions are open to all Muslim and BME Women in Dundee. ❤️
