Public Statement: Islamophobic Attacks in London

Amina MWRC is deeply disturbed by the recent news of a woman in London forcibly removing Muslim women’s headscarves. We condemn this hate crime, and urge the police to give this urgent attention.

Islamophobic incidents have been on this rise in recent months, posing a serious threat to Muslim women. We call on future leaders to implement measures to ensure the safety of Muslim women across the UK.
