Creative Well-Being Dundee has developed activities and workshops around four strands that support mental health and well-being. All workshops and group activities are led by women and centred around their distinct needs. Our regular clients come from all backgrounds, and enjoy learning and growing in the safe space we have created for them.

Health and Well-Being

Raising Awareness for Carers
Collaborating with Dundee Carer's Centre, we hold Awareness Sessions on support available for carers delivered in 4 different languages (Urdu, English, Memoni and Arabic).

Badminton Sessions
In partnership with Badminton Scotland, we delivered weekly sessions for women to learn basic badminton skills. Women aged between 18 and 70 have been able to regularly play badminton together in a culturally sensitive space.

NHS Health Checks
In partnership with the NHS Tayside Health Inclusion Nurses, we have organised free monthly health check appointments with Nurses Bev and Cat

Rules of Fasting Ramadan Workshop
With the help of a qualified Female Scholar, we have delivered a workshop with information on fasting and the Islamic rulings around fasting while you are unwell.
