CEO Mariam Ahmed on BBC Scotland
On 6th March 2025, Mariam Ahmed, CEO of Amina – the Muslim Women’s Resource Centre featured on BBC Scotland’s the News at Seven. During the segment, Mariam spoke about the Fawziyah Javed case, Extended Family Abuse, and support that is required to help prevent this form of abuse. Mariam also highlighted Sabr, Silence and Struggles, our report on Extended Family Abuse in Scotland.
