Kiran Kaur Dhanda
Kiran began her journey with Amina in 2013 as a helpline and VAWG volunteer, having since been employed by Amina for a period of three years and returning now to become a Board Member.
Currently a Youth Development worker and small business owner, Kiran holds a masters in Social Work and BA (Hons) in Business Management. Kiran has a range of experience from working and volunteering in Criminal Justice, Children and Families, Youth mentoring, Elderly befriending services, Refugee/Asylum seeker support, Rape Crisis Scotland and Addiction services.
Her main motivation for returning to Amina MWRC is that she believes the work we do here is vital, as it amplifies the voices and experiences of women. She is excited to create spaces/ opportunities for Muslim and BME women across Scotland to thrive within their communities and beyond.
