Dr Iram Naz
Dr Iram Naz is a General practitioner in Glasgow with a special interset in Women’s health.
She originally hails from Lahore, Pakistan and has been affiliated with NHS for the last 15 years. She calls Scotland her second home having been settled here since 2005.
In her capacity as GP especially being bilingual; she worked closely with women from ethnic minority background. She has dealt with women facing all sorts of challenges; leading to poor health outcomes in the long term e.g domestic violence, mental health problems and health inequalities.
Iram is an advocate of women empowerment & gender equality and believes in diverse and inclusive society with equal opportunities for everyone; be it men or women and from any cultural or racial background.
She joined as a board member in November 2020 and looks forward to continue with AMINA’s mission.
